5-HTP is a dietary supplement that is a standardised extract from the African Griffonia simplicifolia plant. The finished extract, called 5-HTP, is the intermediate metabolite between L-Tryptophan and serotonin. It is an exciting, potent nutrient that is in very limited supply. We recommend one capsule taken at bedtime and warn that 5-HTP may cause drowsiness.
Alpha Lipioc Acid, a potent antioxidant, is both water and fat soluble, enabling it to act both inside the cell and in intracellular spaces. Alpha Lipoic Acid is essential for cellular and muscular energy production, protects against free radical damage, and helps protect against dietary deficiencies. CoQ10 in softgels.
CoQ10 has been shown to have enhanced absorption when taken with a nutritional fat such as rice bran oil. We normally recommend taking CoQ10 with meals or essential fatty acids, but this formula does it all.
