Consultation: Behavioral and instructional; research, evaluation, measurement, statistics & assessment.

Measurement: Test & instrument construction & validation: Norm & Criterion referenced, scaling, item analysis, sampling.

Diagnostic Assessment: Norm & criterion referenced measures-Psychological (cognitive), achievement, adaptive, social-emotional, performanced-based ("authentic")/behavioral (observations, structured and unstructured interview, portfolios, audio, video, checklists, rating scales), curriculum-based, special education eligibility, vocational. Test/instrument administration, scoring and diagnostic interpretation (Birth-Adult).

Research and Development: Research design, test & instrument construction, sampling, data collection, management, statistical analysis & interpretation. Program evaluation, experimental and quasi-experimental research in education, psychology, sociology and medicine. Grant proposal, research/evaluation report & publication writing skills; presentation skills.

Management: Staffing (advertising, interviewing, hiring, sub-contracting), training, supervision, evaluation; budgeting, purchasing/expenditures, bookkeeping, fiscal accountability/reporting.

Computers: Mainframe and Micro-computers operating systems (MS-DOS & Macintosh); statistical analysis on mainframe and micro-computers (SPSSX, SPSSPC+, SPSSWIN, SAS, SYSTAT, SYGRAPH, Statview); telecommunications between mainframe and micro-computers; terminal emulation; word processing, desk-top publishing, spread-sheet, graphics, utilities, draw/paint & database.

Teaching: University/Undergraduate (teacher training: regular and special); measurement (validity, reliability, item analysis), assessment (types & uses: ability, adaptive, achievement, social-emotional), evaluation (person & program), statistics (descriptive); educational psychology, measurement history, assessment & evaluation; test (norm & criterion referenced/objective [psychometric] & subjective [essays]; item types, item writing, item analysis) & instrument (checklists, rating scales) construction; performanced-based ["authentic"] assessment: portfolios, contracting, behavioral observations, interviews; special education law & assessment; instructional psychology & methods; student advising.
